Muangthong United’s Sarach to move to J-League
Sarach Yooyen, Van Lam’s teammate in Muangthong United, is confirm to be under negotiation with Japan side.
The news was confirmed by Muangthong managing director Ronan Ritsuwaja.
Almost Sarach Yooyen will play in the J-League (Japanese league) in the upcoming season. The problem now is to choose which clubs: Sagan Tosu, Gamba Osaka and Kawshiwa Reysol (the clubs are showing interest in his ability to play).“There is a club in Japan that is excited about the prospect of having Yooyen in the squad. However, details of the contract have yet to be considered. We still cannot say anything about this.
Everything depends on a lot of different issues, ” said Mr. Ronan Ritsuwaja.
Muangthong United CEO also agreed on a thorough exchange with Yooyen about his future team. What does the Thai national team want? These are issues that need to be addressed as the new season.
Sarach Yooyen, 27, is the familiar face of Thai football. He emerged under the reign of coach Kiatisuk in the Thai national team and has often been in the shirt of the War Elephants ever since. At the club level, the player also became the irreplaceable name of the team.
In addition to Sarach Yooyen, Mr. Ronan also shared about Teerasil Dangda - another Thai player who has just joined Shimizu S-Pulse in J-League 1:
“We are waiting for Shimizu S-Pulse's confirmation of the Teerasil Dangda debut date. This contract is very important to us and to Dangda. He proves himself to be a quality player. That has made clubs in Japan extremely interested. The press conference for his new club will definitely take place soon in both Japan and Thailand.”
Dang Van Lam is also being noticed by many clubs in Japan. During the training period to prepare for the new season, many rumors said he would leave for Consadole Sapporo - where Chanathip Songkrasin (a former Muangthong United player) is playing for. Playing in Asian top leagues such as J-League 1 is also the goal of the number one goalkeeper in Vietnam when moving to Thailand.
