Indonesia coach rules out stepping down
In the second match of group G at the World Cup 2022 qualifiers, Indonesia was thrashed 0-3 by Thailand.
McMenemy pledged to revamp the national team following Indonesia’s losses to Malaysia and Thailand, which angered fans.
The new players are goalkeeper Wawan Hendrawan (Bali United), midfielder Wawan Febrianto (Tira Persikabo), midfielder Dendi Santoso (Arema FC), and striker Lerby Eliandry (Borneo FC).
Indonesia will begin training in Jakarta on October 1 before travelling to the UAE on October 10. They will take on Vietnam at home on October 15.
