U17 Hanoi horrify the Argentinians

U17 Hanoi is attending the Evergrander Cup international friendly tournament in China. The tournament has many young football teams from the world's most developed football systems such as U17 Guangzhou Evergrande (China), U17 Banfield (Argentina) or U17 Spartak Moscow (Russia).

Right in the game, U17 Hanoi made a shock when beating Chinese representative with a score of 1-0. Guangzhou Evergrande is rated as one of Asia's most modern young football centers.

In the second match against U17 Spartak Moscow, the training center where goalie Dang Van Lam used to train, Vietnamese squad was unable to surprise and got 0-8 loss.

In the final game of the qualifying rounf, U17 Hanoi met U17 Banfield, a young team from Argentina and highly appreciated. However, with certainty, resilience and reasonable tactics, U17 Hanoi delivered good play.

The young players played passionately, support good attack. Despite being inferior in physical strength, Hanoi used techniques to overcome difficulties. U17 Banfield attacked a lot but failed to score goals, resulting in a rush and as a result they were defeated by the only goal from Duong Van Quyet.

In this match, goalkeeper Duy Dung played very well and was awarded The Player of the Match. Duy Dung once shone in U16 Vietnamese winning the Southeast Asian championship 2 years ago.

But this match, unfortunately, U17 Hanoi could not overcome the group stage since their goal difference is smaller than Spartak and Banfield’s. So they missed the chance to meet U17 Atletico Madrid.
