Center back Adriano Schmidt expresses his wish to be given a chance joining Vietnam national team in King’s Cup 2019.
VFF and Vietnam head coach reported that they will not summon the Vietnamese-origin in Europe, yet those in Vietnam might be called including Mac Hong Quan (Quang Ninh) or Adriano Schmidt (Hai Phong FC).
Adriano Schmidt, facing the opportunity to serve the national team, spoke of his study on Vietnamese culture and language. He said joining Vietnam NT would be a precious gift for him.
“I learnt Vietnamese culture and language. I was also trained and played. That is great now. I have learnt many from my teammates as Vietnamese style differs from the Western style. I want to learn both and to serve Vietnam NT”.
Although he just played in V-League, he has become an important figure of Hai Phong squad season 2019.The center back, 1.85 meters height, possesses smart play, calmness and ability to predict the situations.
