During the signing ceremony with Sint-Truiden Club, the Belgian team announced jersey number for striker Nguyen Cong Phuong.
This morning, July 5, Cong Phuong and the representative of Sint-Truiden Club were present at Rex Hotel Saigon to sign a 1-year loan transfer contract.
During the ceremony, Cong Phuong sent his thanks to HAGL president Mr. Duc for facilitating him to go to Europe to seek challenges, the help of HAGL former coach and especially the Sint-Truidense club who believed in his talent.
After both sides gave speeches, Cong Phuong and the Sint-Truidense club took photos with Cong Phuong and his new jersey in the new season. Accordingly, Nghe An striker will wear shirt No. 15.
Cong Phuong has never wore this number in his career. In both team level and national level, which Cong Phuong often wore the numbers 9,10, 14, 16, 20 and 23 (Incheon United).
Surprisingly, last season, the number 15 of Sint-Truidense belongs to the 22-year-old Japanese player Kamada Daichi. The player also went to the Belgian side on loan during the 2018/2019 season.
