Xuan Truong was offered with a record price in Vietnam

HAGL has emerged as one of the few teams to survive on their own football, including transfer activities that bring in huge revenue.

Recently striker Nguyen Cong Phuong was offered a buyout by Ho Chi Minh City with a value of nearly $650,000. However, the feasibility of this deal is not high as HAGL president Doan Nguyen Duc does not want to sell his favorite player.

Cong Phuong is not the only player who Mr. Duc wants to keep it at all costs. Luong Xuan Truong had been asked twice by Thanh Hoa Club before.

The first time was when FLC Group still sponsors Thanh Thanh football team. Owners of this team contacted HAGL to get the service of the Tuyen Quang-born midfielder. But at that time Xuan Truong and Tuan Anh had just returned from Japan and South Korea, so Mr. Duc wanted them to stay focused to contribute to HAGL.

The second took place not long ago. Last season, Thanh Hoa president Mr. De wished to reform Thanh Hoa negotiated with HAGL in the case of Xuan Truong. It is known that this manager is willing to spend a record amount to get HAGL’s agreement.

However, the deal was unsuccessful due to unavoidable reasons. Thanh Hoa, then had to find an alternative midfielder Le Pham Thanh Long of Hai Phong. Meanwhile Xuan Truong broke his ligament in a training with the national team.
