Recently, Thai League website listed 4 players and held a vote for the winner.
Xuan Truong surprisingly appears among the 4 names including Aung Thu (Myanmar), Arifin (Singapore) and Vongchiengkham (Laos).
All 4 have played in Thailand and left significant imprins. Xuan Truong, despite his 5-month playing, received much love from his teammates.
Xuan Truong was known for his beautiful goal from the penalty area and good copoeration with Thailand prodigy Suphanat Mueanta. Notably, in AFC Champions League, Xuan Truong assited Suphanat to score over Beijing Sinobo Guoan F.C.
Aung Thu also returned to his hometown to play football like Xuan Truong. He spent 2 years with 2 big teams on loan in Thailand, Police Tero and Muangthong United.
Meanwhile midfielder Zulfahmi Arifan plays Suphanburi. And Vongchiengkham played for PT Prachuap.
Quite a number of fans commented and left regret when Xuan Truong was not given many opportunities. A fan said: "Unfortunately, Buriram does not have much faith in Xuan Truong. I think he should go to a smaller team, there will be more opportunities. Hopefully in the future he will return to Thailand once again.”
2019 was an unlucky year for Xuan Truong when he was unsuccessful in Buriam United's shirt, losing a place in the national team and broke his ligament. Now he is rehabilitating and wait to come back. Fans will see these beautiful legs again playing football.
