Why does Park call most HAGL players to U22 Vietnam?

Recently, Park Hang-seo announced a list of 28 Vietnamese U22 players in the rally in early July. Notably, HAGL is contributing the most with 5 names.

Young talents from JMG training were summoned including Nguyen Canh Anh, Au Duong Quan, Tran Bao Toan, Dung Quang Nho (3rd course) and Vu Minh Hieu (4th course). All 5 names are registered by HAGL to compete in the V.League 2020.

Park Hang-seo decided not to call troops from Hanoi, PVF or just summon 1 Viettel player. Even the list of U22 Vietnam has no name but bright young talents like Nham Manh Dung, Le Minh Binh, Nguyen Huu Thang, Dang Van Toi ...

Why did Mr. Park call the majority of HAGL?

The rally of U22 Vietnam took place only in 3 days from July 1-3, to serve the test and building forces towards the key goals in 2021 of coach Park Hang-seo.

For the purpose above, Park has selected 28 players with a mix of players who have been summoned and the players who are under watch. Due to the ongoing professional tournaments, many players are part of the U22 Vietnam recruitment plan but are not named at this gathering.

Coach Park Hang Seo will organize many short-term gatherings for U22 Vietnam. Each time he will select 28-30 players to test and help them get familiar with the game on the team.

As planned, the U22 Vietnam will join forces on the morning of July 1. In the afternoon of the same day, the team will enter the first training session on the field of Vietnam Football Training Center. On July 2, Coach Park Hang-seo will take a test for the players with an internal training match at the yard of the Vietnam Young Football Training Center.
