VFF announces the punishment for bad behavior of Nam Dinh fans
Recently, the VFF discipline committee has officially issued a punishment to the organizer of the match between Nam Dinh vs Viettel because of weak security control.
In the 78th minute, midfielder Lam Anh Quang received a red card after a rough foul on the Viettel striker. This decision of the referee team received a harsh reaction from the coaching staff and the supporters of the home team.
Lam Anh Quang's red card made Nam Dinh lose the game to Viettel. Then, in the last minute of injury time, midfielder Vu Minh Tuan scored the goal that set the score of 2-1 for the away team.
Being frustrated that the referee Nguyen Ngoc Chau made decisions that were detrimental to the home team, many fans in the South responded by throwing bottles of water on the field when the game ended. They also constantly have unkind words towards the referee team.
At the end of the match, many fans refused to leave the field, they stayed behind to cover the doors, waiting for the referee to press the pressure. Security forces must intervene and disperse the crowd. These actions of Nam Dinh's audience could not hire from VFF discipline committee and a penalty was imposed.
Specifically, according to Decision No. 194 of the VFF Discipline Committee on June 10, 2020, match organizer was fined VND 15 million due to the following conditions: the audience came to the playing area; threw many bottles of water on the field in the match between Nam Dinh and Viettel in the third round of V-League. This is the first football field to be punished in this year's V-League for violating the rules.
Hopefully, with this deterrent penalty, such bad images will no longer appear on V.League football fields in the near future.
