Kiatisuk self-isolates 14 days because of Covid-19 risk
Former Thai player Kiatisuk will automatically quarantine 14 days when the two girls studying abroad came back to Thailand
Kiatisuk's two daughters, Proud Athicha (17) and Pearl Muktapa (16), are studying in the UK. However, due to the outbreak of Covid-19, the school was closed and Kiatisuk's children returned to Thailand with eight friends on the evening of March 15.
According to the Ministry of Health's recommendation, Kiatisuk and his daughters will be automatically quarantined at home 14 days due to having contact with children. Kiatisuk said:
"We have prepared a separate space with other families for 14 days, according to the Thai Ministry of Public Health's regulations to prevent Covid-19 and community safety. My children understand the importance of isolation and are happy to follow recommendations. "
"In this pandemic, everyone needs to be aware of prevention, do not be too panic. Let's join hands to overcome this," Kiatisuk called everyone to be conscious in this sensitive time.
Currently, Kiatisuk does not lead any team, he is mainly involved in community football and the development of Thai youth football. At this time, the Thai League football tournament has been postponed due to the Covid-19 epidemic. It is also the general situation of Southeast Asian countries as well as worldwide.
Last time there appeared information Kiatisuk will return to lead Thailand. Former player also left open possibilities in the future. Previously, Kiatisuk used to lead the Golden Temple team and helped them to the third qualifying round of the 2018 World Cup.
